Life goes on...

Life is so different now a days. As I have said before, my days make me so tired at night. But I am enjoying my days with the babies in my room. I'm getting to know them and their habits. Their parents are all very nice as well. But my life goes on day in and day out and they all seem to be the same. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. There has been a bit of drama from a girl who applied to work in my classroom in the afternoon. She tends to be having a lot of conflict with other people at my work. We'll see how it works out. I don't really want her in my room because I want a positive work place.

On a good note...I was invited to the movies this Friday by some girls I have met at work. So I am making progress on the friends front. I miss my friends in Kansas so much.

Well, I guess that's all for now.

Basketball Part 6

Wowzers!  That's the only way to describe this game.  I'll start off by saying, after the last game I told Andy he has to stop being mouthy to the to refs because he's going to get a technical.

So, the game was back and forth and once again, a nail biter.  At the end, the score was 48-47 and we were 47.  At the end of the game Andy got a technical for asking the ref why she had given their team fouls for the last 7 possessions.  Apparently she didn't like it because she gave him a technical. The point that guy made gave the team the 48th point and gave us the loss.  I have to say though, I normally hear him saying things.  This time I didn't.  He said he was just talking to her and not being like he normally is, so...it was kind of crappy because the ref called the technical in the last seconds of the game.  Oh well...what can you do?

Basketball Part 5

Finally a win!  It was a nail biting game.  It had to go into overtime when we were tied 41-41.  It game down to the last second and the final score was 46-47.  One point!  Once again, there were a lot of turnovers that were due to bad passes.  It was a good game and I enjoyed it!

Basketball Part 4

Okay, okay...I know I'm behind.  So we go!

It was a loss for the command.  Andy scored 17 points!  But it wasn't enough, the final score was 59-50.  I didn't write many details down, so maybe it was just an okay game.  What the interesting part was when one of Andy's teammates quit in the middle of the game.  New players came out to play because a lot of the people that normally play are gone right now.  It was a little much for everyone to handle I guess.  There was a lot of arguing and not much communication.  No one really listened to each other.  They could have beat the this team if only the team listened to what everyone was saying.
