Wedding Part 2

Plane Ticket

I booked my plane ticket after my parents booked theirs so we could fly into Virginia together. We thought it would be a good idea to fly through Houston so we would avoid getting stranded. On the plus side, I was going to be able to surprise my nephew. We didn't tell him anything that was happening so he didn't ruin any of the plans by telling Nina.

Matron of Honer Dress

Do you know how hard it is to find a maternity formal dress? Let me tell you, it is very hard. I finally found one online. Matt was thinking blue. I found a dress and emailed a picture to him and Jennifer ("wedding planner" and close friend of Nina's) to approve it. Luckily they said it was okay.

The Secret Continues...

While all of this is occurring, Nina is making plans difficult. Matt keeps us updated through email and phone calls. Nina wants to get married very quickly because her time is running out to be leaving to Bahrain. She also wants to be able to get her name changed before she leaves. I tell her its a lot of paperwork and blah blah blah. Nina doesn't really want to hear all this. She thinks they are getting married whenever the Chaplin returns from a trip which would be early December. That isn't good enough for her though.

In the mean time, things are starting to get finalized with invitations, food, and venue. My parents and Nina are also planning trips. Nina and Matt are headed to AZ for Thanksgiving and then Nina meets up with my parents in California for our grandma's 80th birthday celebration.
