Hello again. I have so much to talk about, so lets dive right in.
Andy and I had a few plans before I came out here. They were, get married, go to The Big Island, and go to Maui (not in any particular order). Me being here for only a month and a half though, we didn't really have time to go to the Big Island and Maui. So then we decided we would go to Maui. I looked at the prices and they were reasonable (at the time). By the time Andy's time off got approved the prices went way up. I'm a pretty frugal person with money (true, I wasn't always this way) and it freaked me out to spend that much money. And we would spend that and still have to spend more money to eat and do stuff. You can't go on vacation and not do anything. Sightseeing cost money (around here anyway). Sooo...we have decided to do those two islands when I come back next year. BUT, that being said, we are going to do some stuff around here instead. We are going to swim with the dolphins and (per Christine's suggestion) go on a helicopter ride. I'm very excited!
Speaking of being "excited", today we went snorkeling with one of Andy's friend. This was the first time I had ever went and I was quite nervous. Well for one, I can't swim and you have to breathe through a tube. Well, we went to a beautiful place called Hanauma Bay (sorry, no pics but if you YOUTUBE it, you can see what it looks like) which is a snorkeling wonderland. I failed! I kept freaking out and feeling like I couldn't breathe. So while Andy and Ed snorkeled, I laid on the beach and worked on my tan. While I was working on my tan it started to rain a hard, cold rain. Geezzz...and I hardly got any color! But I did protect the phones from the rain =). I know what's important. I am going to continue to practice snorkeling because I would love to see underwater.
Tomorrow I'm going golfing (okay, okay, TRY to go golfing). You should have heard my dad's reaction when I told him I was going. If you don't know, he's a VERY good golfer. He plays a lot. His advice to me was "go early and go on the driving range". So I will. I told Andy that if I don't do well on the driving range (I'm not fooling myself, there is a very good chance of that happening), that maybe I would just drive the cart while him and his friend played golf. Besides, I would hate to spend so much money renting clubs and the golfing fees to just want to stop playing on hole 2. And that probably would happen. I'll let you know how it goes though. You never know.
Well good night for now.

Hope you had fun golfing. Let me know how it went. I usually just drive the cart & keep score. It's not my sport anyway. If I wanted to spend that much money and walk that much, I'd rather be shopping and bring something home to show for it!
