Hospital Visit

As most of you know, I have been sick off and on through the pregnancy. I've been lucky to not have morning sickness or any of the normal pregnancy stuff. However, I get flu like symptoms without the fever. And I feel like this every few weeks. Once again I started to feel yucky on Sunday night. By Monday I was in bad shape and even went home from work at noon. Today I again woke up feeling bad and called into work. I went to the hospital to see what is going on with me.

SIDE NOTE: I would have liked to go to the clinic that on my base. But they won't see me because I'm pregnant. This makes me a bit mad because I'm feeling just plain sick and I don't think I should have to go to the OB clinic because I have body aches.

I waited to hours to see the doctor at this walk-in clinic. I told him everything that was going on and in the end he told me what I already suspected. My body just gives out on me and gets sick. I need to rest more was pretty much my prescription. How will that work out when I work full time? Yes, I know I could rest more after work, but I don't want to just sit at home all the time. I have energy again and I want to do stuff.

One good thing was that the doc did an ultrasound just to check on Annabella. She was sleeping I guess but she had a good heartbeat. I love seeing her!

So. . . just as I suspected- you are pregnant! Now do you recall how often I was "sick" during school??? Its horrible, huh? And then we have people like you telling us how non-sick they are through their first trimesters. Shouldn't have said anything - I'm telling ya! But, it should be a good sign right??? Means a healthy baby????
