Toy Story

My mom got my nephew Toy Story 1 a few weeks ago. He picked the movie out right away. Apparently my sister has been reading the Toy Story book to him which why he was set on getting the movie. It quickly became his favorite and so we got Toy Story 2. I have watched it more times than I can count. What I've noticed in both movies is that there isn't a dad in either movie. Isn't that odd? It was just something I noticed and wanted to mention. Maybe someone out there knows why this is. There are a lot of single parents these days, so maybe they wanted the movie to represent more of current day. Anyway, I was just wondering.
