Well the past few days have been busy. First I must say that the first grade class I am subbing in is making me tired. I have always considered myself as an intermediate (grades 3-5) teacher. And I now know that I was right about that. I'm glad for this experience but holy cow, I've already started counting down the weeks. Five weeks left!

I also have started to go back to the gym. I've actually only went once (yesterday after school). But I intend to keep going. I'm really ready to get healthy and start eating better. And thankfully for Christine, she made me stay on the elliptical for 30 minutes. I felt great afterwards.

Then I went to the high school football game. Before I went to the gym I got myself a new school football t-shirt (I gotta fit in, right?). I also threw in a k-state draw string bag so I can rock the k-state when I get back to Hawaii. The game was good but I watch the people more than the game. I was so glad I went because I saw several of my former students, who by the way are just about as tall as I am. What is that about!?!?

Afterwards we went to the local restaurant and hung out. I laughed so hard and so much my head and stomach was hurting. Probably those couple of drinks I had helped out with that.

Here is Christine...I don't know why she seems to be the only one that ever gets her picture taken.

I didn't stay out very late. I dropped the girls off at the "cowboy bar" and I headed home for the night. Once again I talked to Andy on the way home. We can only stay on the phone for a short time before we get cut off, so we ended up emailing for a while.

One last thing! My sister and her boyfriend (Nina and Matt) might come to Hawaii for the holidays. I'm so excited. We'll see if it works out but I think it would be so cool if it happens.

Oh wait! One more thing. Andy got 2nd place AGAIN in the free-throw contest. He has won a total of $180.00. Isn't that crazy?
