Way too long...sorry!

It has been a very long week. I have lots to tell you about. First of all, I woke up this morning to find my belly had grown a bit more overnight. Annabella is moving around like crazy some days I love it! Now on to this crazy week.

Andy
He had softball everyday this week besides Wednesday AND he played today as well. Last night (Friday) he had two games. Softball has gotten a bit harder to keep up with now since I have created myself a life here. I find I have things to do and want him to participate in them as well. Not to mention, we still have a lot to do to prepare for Annabella's arrival. So we are finding out how to compromise and fit it all in. This weekend was a good example of that, but we'll get to that in a minute.

He played in a tournament that started last night and ended today. A very short one. He did very well but they only played three games before they were out of the running. Andy's body is starting to fall about so we are a little unsure how much longer he can endure. I mean he is getting up there in age! lol.

He is considering trying out for the base team again. If you can recall, it was the team that we went to San Diego with. I'm not sure what he'll decide. But if he does make that team, he can't play with his current team.

Daisie
Work has been a bit crazy for me. On Tuesday I went to into work to find my room smell like mold. It was so strong you could walk by and smell it. We were out of the room quite a bit while they tried to locate it and fix the problem but it was a little for me. By the end of the day I was coughing and didn't stop. I was up through the night and went into the next day. I got off at 11 and Andy and I headed to the hospital. After five hours and a bunch of tests later I left with a bunch of meds. I had to get a chest x-ray to make sure no mold was growing in my lungs. Thank goodness there wasn't! The room is all better but wow that mold did a number on me.

Last night while Andy went to his first game, I went to a dinner with some friends from work. I just hung out for a bit and then went to his first softball game in the tournament. Here is where the compromises come in. In tournaments, we don't ever know the times of games. But he told them that if they had any evening games that he would not be able to play. Its because I have a dinner at Red Lobster tonight for my friends' birthday. But it turned out we were done early and he doesn't have to miss any softball, but the fact remains that he would have so he could participate in my stuff as well.

Annabella
As I mentioned earlier, she is moving a lot now. She's getting stronger everyday. The other night I had my ipod on my belly so she could listen to classical music and she hit the ipod. It moved! Andy feels her move as well. Its the neatest thing!

We have an appointment this Wednesday. Just a routine appointment. But in November we have a big ultrasound appointment to look at her heart. There is some family history on Andy's side that warranted Annabella getting her heart looked at. We feel very confident that the tests will show a healthy heart.

I guess that's it for now. I know it was a lot, but this week has been tough with me being sick and Andy playing softball. Time just seems to get away from me. I promise to get better at this...hmmm...maybe =)
